Vehicle Description
Stock Number: 2027 - This is a lower-mile 1978 Trans AM and it has
all the right boxes checked. It was Sold New at Selland Motors, in
Fargo, ND. It has Factory Installed Hurst T-Tops as shown on the
Window Sticker. It has the very important W72 Matching Numbers
Hi-Output Pontiac 400 and Borg Warner Super T-10 transmission with
a factory Hurst Shifter. The Bandit Himself would have been proud
to drive this Trans AM when he put his White Stetson on. The
overall Trans AM is very good, but there are some rust issues in
the corners of the dash which is common on T-Top cars and the
floors as shown in the photos. None of these are structural in
nature and none of them prevent you from enjoying this uniquely
optioned Trans AM. It runs good and is so much fun to drive, as
well as very cool to look at. However, it is a little loud and
needs exhaust work. We have not done much with this TA and are
offering it up for the next owner to mold it to the Trans AM vision
they see. It is a quality TA with all the best options that make it
a true collectible that will hold its value in any market.
