GR Auto Gallery is excited to offer this remarkable 1970 Plymouth
'Cuda, a true symbol of the American muscle car era. The 'Cuda, a
high-performance version of the Plymouth Barracuda, solidified its
place in automotive history as one of the most aggressive and
visually striking muscle cars ever produced. Powered by a potent
340 cubic inch V8 engine with a 4-barrel carburetor, this car
delivers a thrilling combination of speed and torque that defined
the golden age of muscle cars. Paired with a 3-speed manual
transmission, this 'Cuda offers a hands-on driving experience that
connects you directly to the road.
The 1970 model year marked the height of muscle car performance for
Plymouth, and the 'Cuda was its crown jewel. This particular
example is finished in the iconic Vitamin C (Hemi Orange), a
vibrant color that perfectly captures the rebellious spirit of the
era. The black longitudinal sport stripes, hood pins, and chrome
moldings further emphasize its aggressive design. The dual exhaust
system with chrome tips produces the deep, throaty rumble that
muscle car enthusiasts crave.
According to current owner the car came out of Idaho originally and
then sold to Indiana where it was stored by a farmer till 2018.
Farmer had the transmission rebuilt but left everything else as is.
Current owner pruchased and had engine midly rebuitl by ANR Custom
shop out of Battle Creek MI. New paint in original Vitamin C orange
and retained all original body panels with no signs of bondo or
filler. New fuel tank, fuel lines, brake lines, brakes and retains
the original carpet and interior. Inside, the 'Cuda features a
high-grade black vinyl interior with bucket seats, offering both
comfort and style. The AM radio and blacked-out rear deck panel
maintain the car's original factory-correct setup, enhancing its
classic appeal. The 1970 'Cuda wasn't just a straight-line
performer; it was known for its balance of power and handling,
making it a favorite among muscle car enthusiasts then-and now.
Introduced as a stand-alone model separate from the Barracuda, the
'Cuda represented the pinnacle of Plymouth's engineering and
design. Its bold styling, combined with the muscle to back it up,
quickly made it one of the most coveted cars of its time. This
'Cuda, equipped with all the right options, is a prime example of
what makes the model so legendary.
Whether you're a collector or a driving enthusiast, this 1970
Plymouth 'Cuda delivers a unique opportunity to own a piece of
American automotive history.
