1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS - Absolutely gorgeous example of a '71 Chevelle in a stunning color combo with great options! Beautiful recent restoration with alot of attention to detail and factory appearance in mind. Powered by an iconic Big Block V8 (NOM) that has been rebuilt close to original specs with the exception of a set of Doug's headers and custom stainless dual exhaust to give it that proper rumble. Car runs like a bear and is a blast to drive thanks to a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and 12-bolt rear with 3.31 gears. Factory "SS" suspension components accompanied by upgraded tubular A-arms allow the car to really hug the road along with power steering and power disc brakes which bring everything to a stop. Exterior is laser straight and draped in a near flawless coat of "Nevada Silver" that gleams in the sunlight and is appropriately contrasted by black rally stripes. The correct 15" Rally wheels have been restored and wrapped in new BFG white letter radial tires. All new chrome and stainless trim is excellent as is all the glass. Doors, trunk and hood open/shut perfect while all the gaps/seams line up nicely. Interior shows as originally equipped with factory black vinyl bucket seats and center console with floor mounted Hurst shifter. Everything works inside including lights, gauges, heater, rear De-fogger, remote mirror and an upgraded RetroSound AM/FM stereo system. Underneath the hood is extremely detailed and underside of the car is clean with no signs of any current rust or rot issues. With the recent astronomical prices of '70 Chevelles, these 71-72 era cars have really been coming into their own and quickly becoming collectible amongst muscle car enthusiasts.
