Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is pleased to present this
classic 1957 Cadillac Series 62 Hardtop Coupe. For 1957, Cadillac's
new "X-braced frames" gave them a platform with increased stiffness
and safety, as well as new sheetmetal designs that captured the
hearts of luxury car buyers, which resulted in Cadillac outpacing
Lincoln almost 4:1 in sales. This Series 62 hardtop coupe is
finished in a muted color scheme: with its white top over the light
green (think "Seafoam Green") body, it just oozes "vintage
luxobarge" from every pore. To make up for the sedate colors, there
is plenty of chrome to go around! And, when that massive front
grille appears in someone's rearview mirror, it will encourage them
to move over and let this bad boy pass. Powered by a 365 CID V8
that was rated at 300HP, along with a smooth-shifting automatic
transmission, this Caddy is ready to motor down the highway.
Inside, it has gray woven cloth seating surfaces, which are
augmented by white vinyl trim for a nice contrast. The carpet and
headliner are in decent shape, and the blue over gray over white
door and dash color scheme adds a nice touch. This '57 Cadillac
Series 62 comes with Power Brakes, Power Steering, and Power
Windows, which all serve to make driving this yacht a pleasure.
Call our Houston Showroom - we'll be happy to help you land this
whale!
