Extensive period looking resto-mods include 1950 Studebaker
flathead I-6 engine custom built by Bill Cathcart, renowned
Studebaker engine builder with higher compression, dual carburetors
on an aluminum Offenhauser intake manifold, custom made polished
and finned head, split exhaust manifold for true dual exhaust,
solid-state ignition, etc. Produces an estimated 145 hp. Dropped
front suspension with late model GM disc brakes, tube shocks and
dual master cylinder. Porsche 911 front stabilizer bar. GM S-10
overdrive 5-speed transmission with a modern industrial clutch and
Ford 9 rear with drum brakes connected to stock emergency brake
handle. Rear spring rate reduced and lowered. Tube rear shocks.
Staggered Goodyear radial tires with Diamond Back wide white walls
on American Racing chrome wheels. Has new everything including
paint, chrome, rubber, glass and all wiring but still retains OE 6
Volt positive ground. Rebuilt starter and generator with new
voltage regulator. New interior by Jack Schrader with extra
creature comfort features, sound insulation and pleasant ride
quality make this an excellent everyday driver. Has basic stereo
audio amplifier and speakers with Aux cord.
