This 1997 Jeep Cherokee Country is a really cool find. 1 Owner,
Summer Cottage vehicle, super clean, all original. This is a highly
optioned Cherokee and it is easy to see this was the previous
owner's baby. 1/2 of the miles were towed behind an Rv and 1/2 of
the miles driven. It is a beautiful vehicle and a great color
combo. The body on this Cherokee is super clean and solid. The
Black paint appears to be all original and looks beautiful. The
underside is super clean as this Jeep was never driven in the
winter. We found no rust issues with this vehicle.
The interior is all original and is also in excellent shape. The
leather seats, door panels, headliner, carpet, dash, and dash bezel
are all in awesome original condition. The headlights, tallights,
brake lights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all
work. The power windows and power locks work. The power mirrors and
power drivers seat are working. This vehicle has tilt wheel and
working cruise control. The windshield wipers, horn, and heat all
work. This vehicle has working AC!! This is an exceptional original
interior.
Mechanically this Jeep is top notch. It runs and drives excellent!!
The engine is the original 4.oL Inline 6. These engines are known
for their longevity and reliability. Within the last 5,000 miles
this vehicle has a new complete exhaust system, new radiator, new
thermostat, new hoses, and new belts. The transmission is the AW4
Automatic that shifts nice. It is mated to the np242 transfer case
and the 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is a Chrysler 8.25
with 3.55 gears. The front axle is a Dana 30 with 3.55 gears. This
is all sitting on a nice set of factory aluminum wheels with like
new Firestone Destination All Terrain Tires. This vehicle is sure
to make its next owner happy!!
