1965 Chevrolet C10 fleet side SWB with lowered stance.
Sounds great with rebuilt small block V8 327 - 'DoubleHump' heads - small Luniti cam / ceramic coated headers - 4 speed Muncie M21 close ratio 373gear - 600 Edelbrock - 40 chamber Flowmaster 2 1/2" pipes .
Power Steering with front disc brakes, New AC installation/cold air. New steering column with tilt.
Began restoration in 2014 when we disassembled the truck and sandblasted the fame - ultimately started driving it again in 2023. Following are some highlighted restorations:
Custom paint combo inside and out with clear coat which gives it a matte sheen. Dual exhaust, new wood floor bed and channels, new wood steering wheel, new AC unit with dash controls and under dash venting, new front windshield, custom upholstered seat and floor carpet, new sun visors, new glove box, window guts, rubber door seals, new gas tank to truck bed, killer paint matching 'Steel Wheels' with center chrome cap and beauty ring with 235/60R 17 tires ($2200), new front and rear bumpers, new grill, separate knob controlled backup lites, USB charger in removable center console, tons of engine new parts including master cylinder, inline fuel filter, radiator/shroud - brakes - brake lines - bearings etc, new side trim pieces and more.
This has been my favorite rebuild and I enjoy it as a 1965 was my first vehicle back in the day - previous vehicles I've owned and had restored to various levels include a 1967 Charger, 1965 GMC 1/2 ton SWB, 1965 Rambler Wagon, 1972 Plymouth Gold Duster, 1997 Camaro and 1996 Toyota 4Runner.
ALWAYS parked inside the car shed with a battery maintenance charger. Mainly used for trips around town & car shows.
Note: Fuel gauge recently stopped working.
I have spent a lot of time making sure of that the ride quality, tire/wheel combo, braking components are overall stance and the sound are safe and pleasing to the driver. Truck will come with a 'Bill of Sale' as Georgia does not issue a title for this age vehicle. Believe truck originally from TN based on a 1995 title that I have.
