Vehicle Description
This 2006 Ferrari F430 Spider has 13k miles and is powered by a
4.3-liter DOHC V8 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle that was
converted to manual operation by European Auto Group of San
Antonio, Texas. Finished in black over black leather upholstery,
the car is equipped with a black convertible soft top, an S-Line
exhaust system, a carbon-fiber rear diffuser and front splitter,
black-finished 19 Challenge alloy wheels, an electronically
controlled limited-slip differential, Brembo carbon-ceramic brake
rotors, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, an aftermarket front-axle
lift system, carbon-fiber-backed bucket seats, and Alpine stereo, a
gated shifter, and automatic climate control. A replacement clutch
was reportedly fitted at the time of the conversion. Additional
work consists of repairing the soft top mechanism and replacing the
front and rear brake lines, fuel pump, air filter, spark plugs, and
motor mounts. This F430 Spider is now offered with spare parts, a
Carfax report, and a clean Montana title.
The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in black and features a
power-retractable black soft top, xenon headlights, Scuderia
Ferrari fender shields, a carbon-fiber front splitter, and quad
exhaust tips exiting on either side of the carbon-fiber rear
diffuser. A January 2008 entry of the Carfax report lists an
accident with another motor vehicle, and the previous seller stated
repairs to the right-front fender were performed as a result of the
impact. The soft top mechanism was repaired in April 2023, and a
hole is noted on the soft top fabric.
Black-finished 19 Challenge alloy wheels are mounted with
staggered-width Yokohama Advan tires. Braking is handled by
yellow-finished brake calipers fitted over Brembo carbon-ceramic
rotors, and the car is equipped with a KW Suspension front-axle
lift system. The front and rear brake lines were replaced in
October 2022.
The cockpit features optional carbon-fiber-backed Sparco bucket
seats upholstered in black leather with color-contrasting stitching
that extends to the dash, door panels, and center console.
Carbon-fiber trim accents the interior, and additional appointments
include an Alpine stereo, aluminum pedals, a gated shifter, air
conditioning, a wind deflector, and power windows and locks.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel features a red
engine start button along with a manettino drive-mode dial.
Instrumentation includes a central tachometer with an 8,500-rpm
redline as well as a 220-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant
temperature, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The digital
odometer indicates 13k miles.
The mid-mounted 4.3-liter F136 V8 features Bosch Motronic engine
management and a dry-sump lubrication system. Factory-rated output
was 483 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque. Work performed since
2022 included repairing a power steering leak, changing the
coolant, and replacing the fuel pump, air filter, spark plugs, and
the motor and transmission mounts.
