This 1997 Porsche 911 Carrera beckons the discerning enthusiast -
one who appreciates not just performance but the purity of the
air-cooled lineage and the timeless elegance that only a 911 can
possess.
This stunning 1997 Porsche 911 Carrera S coupe was acquired by the
current owner in 2000, and it now shows just 25k miles. Finished in
Arctic Silver Metallic and equipped with the optional Motor Sound
Package, headlight washers, fog lights, power-adjustable mirrors, a
power-operated sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual
exhaust outlets. Braking is handled by Porsche-branded calipers
over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The cabin features
power-adjustable front seats upholstered in black leather and
complemented by a color-coordinated center console, door panels,
and carpeting. Amenities include a CD stereo, a Hi-Fi sound system,
cruise control, and air conditioning.
This isn't your average 911. This is a rare C2S, a factory widebody
masterpiece boasting the iconic air-cooled flat-six engine that
Porsche perfected over decades. True Porsche aficionados understand
the pure driving experience offered by a manual transmission. For a
car like the C2S, known for its performance, a manual gearbox truly
makes this a vehicle meant to be enjoyed through every curve. And
with only 25,318 miles from new, you'll have plenty of time to
enjoy the true pureness that only a rear-wheel drive sports car can
offer. Driven sparingly during its past ownerships, this C2S has
always been cared for and serviced appropriately to keep it in its
current outstanding condition and ready to be immediately
enjoyed.
Produced for only two short years, the 1997 C2S is the embodiment
of the last air-cooled 911s. This particular example is a true
driver's delight, featuring a 3.6L twin-cam powerhouse mated to a
precise manual transmission. Imagine the exhilarating surge of
power, the intoxicating symphony of the flat-six engine, and the
pure, unadulterated connection between driver and machine.
While this Porsche offers classic performance, it benefits from
modern care. The vehicle has been maintained to the highest
standards and recently received a comprehensive service inspection
by factory-trained technicians from Becks European in Scottsdale,
AZ. This ensures a taut, responsive driving experience, while also
giving you the confidence and peace of mind to push this legend to
its limits.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists
registration history in Colorado and Arizona.

Upon arrival at Canepa, every vehicle goes through a process called
the Canepa Difference where the car is personally inspected and
road-tested by Bruce Canepa. Bruce was amazed by the sheer sleek
beauty of this 993 C2S and how well preserved mechanically the car
was. After a complete inspection, including any necessary service,
the C2S only required a light cleaning and minor detail, which was
performed by our Concours winning detail team. This pristine 993
C2S is truly a superlative Porsche.
