We are proud to introduce another Chevelle SS to the Basil Classics line up. In 1999 this 70' Chevelle underwent a full rotisserie restoration in Ontario, Canada. The body was completely striped down and sand blasted to bare metal, while the fenders did show signs of rust, the previous owner decided to replace the inner and outer quarters with NOS parts. Under the hood of this car is the factory 396 L34 engine which is paired to a turbo 350 automatic transmission. The driveline is all true to the car except for the manifolds which are period correct but are not date coded. The factory 12-bolt rear end with 3.31gears remains with the car marked (CF 12 09 E). The original factory color on this Chevelle was #43 Lime Green Metallic and during restoration was changed to #25 Astral Blue PPG base clear paired with dual black stripes. The interior is a beautiful 2-tone with cream vinyl seats, and cream door panels paired with black carpeting and a black dashboard, all of which are in amazing condition. All 5 of the rims are true to the car and were restored at the same time to hold its originality. The car is Canadian documented with photos showing all marking and stamping to be correct, you will be hard pressed to find one as professionally done as this Chevelle so don't hesitate and stop in today!
