When it comes to vintage pickup trucks no top 10 list would be
complete without including the classic C10. In fact, many would
suggest it takes that number 1 spot as these trucks have
skyrocketed in popularity recently. There are people dedicated to
building them and shows all over the country popping up
specifically about this era. These were also known as the "Action
Line" series and 1971 brought a mid cycle revision with upgraded
chassis, front disc brakes, a new grill and more. This beautiful
1971 is a very clean example of one of these vehicles and has been
fully frame off restored. It was completed in 2022 so is still very
fresh. The body is all solid and painted in a stunning Black Cherry
3 stage paint with pearl. It has an excellent shine and depending
on the light changes from darker to lighter. It is very clean with
no rust or bondo. The paint is nicely accented by bright shining
front/rear bumpers and a custom billet grill. The glass is in great
condition and all tinted. The side windows are now a 1 piece set up
which makes for a very slick look. The tailgate is all smooth with
the "Chevrolet" lettering painted in. The bed of the truck has a
spray in bed liner to keep it all protected and make it more
usable. It rides on a set of 20x8 front and 20x10 rear Ridler
wheels which look great wrapped with low profile Lionhart
tires.
Pop open the cowl induction hood and you will be greeted with a
smooth running Vortec motor out of a 2015 Silverado that has
approximately 43,000 miles on it. From there power travels through
the 4L60E automatic transmission to the new drive shaft and into
the 12 bolt positraction rear end. The suspension system has all
been rebuilt and has new springs and shocks. The truck has power
steering and power brakes with discs up front. The power brake
booster has a proportioning valve and the bracket has been powder
coated as well as the hood springs. The gas tank has been relocated
which is a nice upgrade that gets it out of the interior behind the
rear seat where they were originally. It is set up to be a great
driver and also has an Old Air AC/Heat system so you can cruise
comfortably everywhere.
The interior is nicely done and is all custom. It has a nicely
upholstered bench seat done in a two tone Red and Black. Underneath
the seat is a Bluetooth Audio hidden stereo system that delivers a
great sound through speakers behind the seat and in the kick
panels. The dash is all nicely painted and has a custom Chevy
bowtie plate to cover the old stereo location. The Dakota Digital
gauges all work properly as does the underdash adjustable AC/Heat
vents. In front of the driver is a Black 4 spoke "Chevrolet"
steering wheel sitting atop a painted tilt steering column.
This cool C10 is in great condition and has been set up to enjoy
many more miles and years on the road.
Park it in your garage for $47,500.00!
