This 1989 Ford F150 XLT Lariat pickup is a really cool truck that
spent its life in Washington State and the last few years in
Montana. The last owner put a lot of time and money in this truck
in the last few years to make it a reliable vehicle. This will be
detailed in the following description. The body on this F150 is
clean and straight. The White paint appears to be all original and
still looks great with only the normal wear and tear from a vehicle
this age. The truck still has the original decals and all of the
original chrome and trim is still in nice condition. The underside
of this truck is clean and we found no rust issues.
The interior is in excellent condition. The seat, carpet,
headliner, door panels, dash, and dash bezel are all original and
in great condition. The headlights, taillights, brake lights, and
turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. This truck has
tilt wheel and working cruise control. The horn and windshield
wipers are working and the heat and AC are also working on this
truck.
Mechanically this truck is top notch and it runs and drives
wonderful. A lot of money and a lot of attention to detail went in
to the mechanicals on this truck. The engine is the original 300
Inline 6 that was professionally rebuilt a couple of years ago.
Nearly everything is new. The engine was completely rebuilt with
all new internals including an RV Cam. It has a new aluminum
radiator, new injectors, full tuneup, new water pump, new clutch,
etc, etc. They also added Flowmaster Exhaust. This thing runs
awesome with no issues. The transmission is the T-18 4 Speed manual
that shifts great. It is mated to the Borg Warner Manual Transfer
Case and the 4WD works like it should. It has the 8.8 Inch rear
axle with 3.55 gears and the Dana 44 TTB front axle with 3.55
gears. This is all sitting on Ford Factory Aluminum Wheels with 31
Inch Yokohama Geolander All Terrain Tires. This would make a great
everyday driver or just a cool truck to drive on the weekends.
