Mercury Marketed the Cougar from 1967 to 2002 and is most commonly
associated with a two door couple. For one year only, the Cougar
also came in a massive station wagon configuration known as the
Villager.
This 1977 Mercury Cougar Villager Station wagon, measuring over 223
inches in length, is large and in charge. It has a stately
appearance finished in Green Metallic factory paint with classic
Woodgrain side decals over green interior. The car has been driven
just over 80000 miles since new and remains highly original in all
areas. It is powered by its 351 V8 engine, automatic transmission
and rear wheel drive. Features include power steering, power
brakes, am/fm stereo, cruise control, A/C, deluxe wheel covers
luggage rack, two way rear door, power driver seat, rear storage,
power rear window, etc.
Mechanically, the car starts easy, does not smoke, and sounds
great. It drives down the road extremely smooth and commands
attention where it is seen.
The paint is deep and glossy, the decals are complete and show the
right amount patina, the interior is clean and tidy, the lights and
gages work including the clock and the underside is original, free
from rot and honest.
