This 1974 BMW 2002 Tii has received a number of modifications to improve its performance and appearance. The 5-speed conversion from a 320i provides smoother shifting and improved driving experience. The clutch and slave cylinder have been replaced, and the pedal box has been rebuilt with new insulation, bushings, and springs for better responsiveness.
Under the hood, new engine mounts, exhaust manifold, and firewall insulation have been installed. As well as a rear end conversion to a 320i limited slip differential with new urethane bushings and stiffeners.
The suspension has been thoroughly rebuilt with new tie rods, center link, ball joints, sway bar links, and urethane bushings, and Bilstein HD shocks and Eibach springs have been added for improved handling. The brakes have been upgraded with vented bigger brakes and new drums in the rear, and new braided lines have been installed for improved braking performance.
The electrical system has been updated with a new ignition system, Petronix distributor, and alternator, and the heater control valve and cold start relay have been replaced for improved reliability.
The interior has been refreshed with new Flofit seats, carpet, and a clean dash housing a VDO clock, and the car has received new OEM side mirrors and a larger rear view mirror for improved visibility. The car also features euro bumpers and turn signal lights for a more modern look.
