The C2 generation of the Corvette, also known as the "mid-year"
Corvettes, are commonly regarded as the most beautiful corvettes
ever produced. The mid-year Vettes were produced from 1963 through
1967, this particular Vette being a 1964. The combination of
options (coupe, 4 speed, AC, knock off wheels) on this 1964 is
statistically in the low hundreds of total production, making this
is an incredibly rare combination.
This Corvette was produced in October of 1963. This Corvette
belonged to a well-known Corvette collector and member of the New
Jersey Corvette Club. Under this ownership, it was featured in
"Blue Bars" magazine for the Nov/Dec 1980 issue, just after it was
restored. Afterwards, custodianship was then transferred to another
Corvette lover, where it was under long term ownership until most
recently acquired by a repeat client and friend of Autosport
Designs. This most recent owner is a New York collector who has
cared for and enjoyed the Corvette sparingly since 2005. Under the
most recent ownership, this corvette has benefitted from a complete
engine overhaul to its original factory L75 300 hp specifications
and runs perfectly as our driving video attests.
This Vette is complete with Factory Owner's Manual, an AM/FM Radio
Guide, a "1964 Owner Protection Plan, "Aluminum Wheel Maintenance
Guide", "Chevrolet Corvette Restoration Guide", a 1964 Corvette
Assembly Manual, Service Records since the Early-2000's, as well as
its original set of Kelsey-Hayes knock off wheels with correct
stampings. Car is currently on a set of reproduction wheels of the
same type to protect the rare and valuable originals.
This Corvette is exceptional and well serviced in all areas. As
always, inspections are welcomed, and they do not come to market in
this incredible condition often.
