Here we have a STUNNING example of an American icon. A C2 Corvette Stingray.
A high end restoration was performed on this car in 2010 and we have a full binder of it's process in pictures. A ground up job, the car being stripped to it's bare shell. A nice car to begin with, even before it's restoration, this car was obviously loved by all it's owners since day one. This car is absolutely like stepping into a Chevrolet showroom in 1963. This is a complete, period correct and stock restoration.
Incredible paint in it's original Ermine White with a striking bright red interior! Nothing says 1963 quite like it.
An original miles car at just over 90K miles, the engine was removed, sealed and detailed. No rebuild history that the owner is aware of. Interior door panels, dashboard and trim are all believed to be original to the car.
Well equipped too with a Powerglide automatic transmission, power brakes, windows and a tilt steering column! This car is a pleasure to drive.
Car has sat idle for about a year. We refreshed it with new rear wheel cylinders, a brake adjustment and a fresh oil change. A beautiful piece of Americana that needs nothing currently other than a proud new owner. Better move fast as we are starting to fall in love with this one ourselves.
