Vehicle Description
1967 Chevrolet Corvette L68 427/400hp For Sale - NCRS Top Flight,
Frame Off Resto, Highly Optioned LMC is very proud to offer for
sale this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster The 1967 Corvette Sting
Ray was the last Corvette of the second generation, and five years
of refinements made it the best of the line. Several important
changes marked the mid-years' evolution but no change was greater
than the introduction of the 427-cubic inch engine. These Big Block
cars would be the high-water mark of Corvette performance and
refinement for the C2 series of cars. The 427/400hp L68 came
standard from the factory with the Holley triple two-barrel
carburetor arrangement called Tri-Power. Only 2101 Corvettes in
1967 received this rare engine option which was a $305.50 cost.
Body changes were modest with five smaller front fender vents
replacing the three larger ones and the flat-finish rockers
conferred a lower profile. New was a single backup light mounted
above the license plate and the previous models' wheel covers were
exchanged for the new design. Interior alterations included revised
upholstery and the handbrake moved from beneath the dash to between
the seats. This 1967 Corvette convertible offered here for sale is
a rare example of the three-deuce L68 427/400hp big block with air
conditioning and a Powerglide automatic transmission. Its equipment
complements the touring character with air conditioning, AM-FM
radio, tinted glass, power windows, power steering, power brakes
and rally wheels. The side exhaust adds a nice touch of style and
performance to this beautiful Corvette. This C2 had a body off the
frame restoration to concourse standards that has been documented
in pictures. The car has been refinished in Goodwood Green
complemented by a white interior and white convertible soft top.
The striking white interior features the very rare headrest option.
It is powered by a Numbers Matching 427/400hp Tri-Power and
Powerglide automatic transmission. With its beautiful restoration,
it has gone on to win an NCRS Top Flight Award and comes complete
with judging sheets. With the combination of the optional L68
powerhouse engine, air conditioning, the Powerglide automatic
transmission and being frame off restored this beautiful 1967
Corvette is the perfect addition to any Bow Tie enthusiast garage.
Accompanied by the NCRS Top Flight Award, owners maual and judging
