1928 Ford Roadster for Roadster for sale. This all-steel California car was built in the 1990s and is finished in classic beige with a tan-cloth interior with maroon leather accents. It has a 302 cubic inch V8, Ford C4 automatic transmission, front disc brakes, and Corvette rear end. It comes with a clear California title ready to enjoy.
The 302 cubic inch V8 starts right up, idles and runs strong with plenty of power. Shifting is spot on with its Ford C4 automatic transmission though it does not have a neutral safety switch. It has a newer 4bbl Edelbrock, Mallory electronic ignition, custom headers with a great sounding dual custom exhaust, Corvette rearend and front disc brakes making it very nice to drive.
The exterior shows well, with nice, shiny paint and good trim. Overall, it shows well, especially considering the age of the build. There are some minor paint issues in the fuel filler area; please see the photos. The top has been in storage since the current owner purchased the car in 1999 and is still in good condition.
The car rides on old-school deep-dish steel wheels with trim rings and caps, with an older set of P175/75 R14s upfront and P255/70 R15s at the rear, though the front tires, in particular, should be replaced due to age.
The interior looks great and is very comfortable. New, fresh carpeting was just installed. The tan cloth interior with maroon leather accents shows well. It has a Classic Instruments RPM gauge, a Stewart Warner temperature gauge, and a working fuel gauge. A standard ignition with battery cutoff and headlamp switch is at the lower forward-facing seat base for easy access. In addition, it has a clean trunk with a battery stowaway and tool compartment.
