1966 Ford Mustang Convertible For Sale -Ivy Green, Rotisserie
Restoration, Tons Of Options! LMC is very proud to offer for sale
this 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible From the beginning when Ford
first launched the Mustang they anticipated sales at the modest
figure of 100,000 units. Unbeknownst to them they had started a
revolution in what would be one of the most iconic vehicles in
shape and name. Originally offered in two body styles and three
choices of transmission, either a soft top convertible with the
option of a power assist or the hardtop. Power was sent to the rear
wheels via a three or four speed manual or a three-speed automatic.
This 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible offered for sale is a
beautifully rotisserie restored example finished in its factory
code "R" Ivy Green paint complemented by a Parchment vinyl
interior. The car comes equipped with such features as power
steering, power front disc brakes, console, power top, rally pac
gauges, GT trim, GT fog lights and AM/FM radio. The 289ci engine
has been upgraded with a 4bbl carburetor and is backed by a 5-speed
transmission for better cruising. As well as being highly
functional, the engine compartment is highly detailed with Cobra
style valve covers, Autolite battery cover, correct spark plug
wires, chrome air cleaner and factory tags/stickers. The new owner
would be proud to raise the hood at any car show. The undercarriage
has been restored as well and displays a caliber of workmanship
performed during the restoration. Completing the exterior look are
the styled steel wheels equipped with dual redline tires. This
special 1966 classic Mustang is nice enough to be part of any
collection or be driven for enjoyment with the top down on the
weekends. For either the classic car collector or the enthusiast
who is looking for a well cared for eye-catching summer time car it
is difficult to look past this green Mustang! Additional Details: -
