Vehicle Description
1961 Nash Metropolitan Very nice driver, everything works so it's
ready for the road. 4cylinder, three on the tree. Steering nice and
tight paint work was done several years ago, still nice has a few
chips and scratches, buffing would take care of that. Top has small
patch, and one small tear. Body and paint work done by previous
owner several years ago. Not perfect but very presentable, few
dings and scratches. Resent work done, clean fuel tank and lines,
added electric fuel pump through the Manuel one to prevent vapor
lock in summer heat. New starter, wires. Flushed engine and
radiator, new water pump. New valve cover gasket adjusted lifters
15000 cold. Lights, turn signals, horn, wipers, heater all work.
After market amp and oil pressure gauges work. Cigarette lighter
works. Don't think car has ever been smoked in. Radio did work
still powers up but can't get any stations. Top in good shape one
small patch on the top and one tiny tear on the side. Top fits nice
and tight, windows roll up as they should. One very small oil leak
needs new oil pan gasket, have the gasket. Just haven't put it on.
Down the road stays straight, 65 mph about tops. One rust spot on
left inner fender brace, two rust repairs on front jack points.
