Description:
This 1965 Sunbeam Tiger Mk I is finished in Midnight Blue over gray
leather and powered by 260ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual
transmission. Equipment includes Minilite wheels, a blue soft top,
front disc brakes, and chrome bumpers and trim.
Interior:
Thecabin has been reupholstered in gray leather with matching
carpets and features a wood dashboard, a passenger-side glove
compartment, and an ashtray. The wood-rim steering wheel sits ahead
of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil
pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit
odometer shows 40k miles, approximately 500 of which were added
under current ownership.
Exterior:
The car was refinished in the factory Midnight Blue before the
owner bought it and it features a matching soft top. Close-up
photos of the paintwork and trim are provided in the gallery. The
13? Minilite wheels feature Carroll Shelby Wheels center caps and
are mounted with 205/60 Radar Dimax Classic tires. Braking is from
front discs and rear drums.
Drivetrain:
The 260ci Ford V8 is equipped with an Edelbrock inlet manifold,
finned valve covers and a matching air cleaner. Power is routed to
the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
