For Sale: 1979 Jeep CJ7 in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania

Vehicle Description

This is a garage-kept, original steel body 1979 Jeep CJ-7.  It is driven less than 500 miles annually and never driven in inclement weather.  This Jeep was recently appraised by Vintage Auto Appraisal and valued at $23,750.  The appraisal is available upon request. This beautiful CJ-7 is equipped with countless upgrades and aftermarket products, to include:

* 360 cubic inch AMC V8 with a 650 CFM Holley carburetor
* MSD electronic ignition
* Hedman fender-outlet headers
* Chrome glasspack mufflers
* T-5 five-speed manual transmission & mechanical clutch
* Power steering
* Four-inch leaf spring lift
* Reverse shackle kit on front suspension
* Front steering stabilizer
* 33-inch BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires with matching spare mounted on black aluminum wheels
* Black carpet throughout
* Custom-built carpeted center console
* AM/FM/USB stereo mounted in center console
* Custom-built box for front speakers
* Black fold 'n' tumble rear seat
* Low-profile eight-inch powered subwoofer mounted beneath rear seat
* Color-matched fiberglass hardtop (with tinted windows) with matching steel doors
* Black Bestop Supertop with two-piece Supertop doors
* Black CJ Duster deck cover
* Black Windjammer
* Waterproof car cover (for trips to the OC Hotrod Show)
* Brand new black vinyl AMC/Jeep dash pad
* Short shift transmission kit with chrome shift arm
* Short-diameter chrome racing steering wheel
* Chrome diamond plating at the rear corners and rocker panels beneath the doors

The motor runs extremely well, starts right away, and is quite powerful for such a small vehicle.  The four-wheel-drive system works great and is strong in both high and low gears.  The transmission shifts smoothly and with a fifth gear, is very comfortable at highway speeds.  It has front disc brakes but they are not assisted by a power booster.  Despite this fact, it stops very well and has never locked up.

I've owned this vehicle since June 2009 and I have babied it.  It gets washed with soap and water once a year and lovingly polished with a baby diaper during subsequent cleanings.

I've had loads of fun going to car shows where it turned everybody's heads!  I hate to sell it but I don't drive it enough to justify keeping it, so if you're looking for a vehicle that is loads of fun to drive, look no further.
