Vehicle Description
Another beautiful Basil Classic... This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro with
only 4,869 miles on the build has been handpicked and meets Joe
Basil's standards of excellence and tradition of fine automobiles
since 1951. This vehicle is truly one of a kind and one of the
cleanest, most well taken care of, showroom condition 67 Camaros
that you will find! Buy with confidence!! We acquired this
pro-street 67 Camaro from a local gentleman who traded it in on a
new Chevy pickup truck! The exterior of this car is finished in a
beautiful dark metallic gray with painted black racing stripes. The
body of this car is as clean and straight as can be with no
evidence of previous rust/ repair, and a top-quality paint job with
a deep, high gloss finish! You can tell how meticulously maintained
and well cared for this car was by the previous owner! The chrome/
stainless trim/bumpers are also in excellent condition throughout!
Under the hood of this beast is a built 496ci v8 paired with a
TH400 automatic transmission. This vehicle starts up easily every
time and runs like a top with an MSD ignition system, a Holley XP
750 CFM Carburetor, Weiand intake manifold, Fluidamper harmonic
balancer and more! The engine bay also looks the part with Redhorse
Performance stainless steel braided lines, polished parts
throughout, March Billet bracketry and Moroso valve covers! This
car sounds sinister with Hooker ceramic coated header Dynomax
mufflers, and of course a nice cam! To keep cool, you will see a
Cold-Case aluminum radiator with electric fans up front! The TH400
transmission has been fitted with a Cheeta SCS shifter, a
transmission cooler, and line lock! This car has a nice stance with
Weld Racing wheels and 18.5in wide Mickey Thompsons in the rear
with ladder bar suspension in order to put the power down! The
vehicle has been tubed in order to accommodate! The interior is
finished in black vinyl with many upgrades such as an auto-meter
gauge cluster to display all of your vitals such as MPH, RPM, water
temp, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. Additional water temp
and oil pressure gauges are also mounted below the dash. A Morimoto
switch panel has been fitted to the center of the dash where you
will see your ignition, fuel pump, water, fan, nitrous, and start
switch! In the interior you will see a rear seat delete with a
nitrous bottle mounted, although not hooked up. A battery cut-off
switch is located at the rear of the vehicle in the original gas
cap location giving it a clean look. The interior is also fitted
with A roll cage and R.J.S Harnesses for safety! Moving onto the
trunk you will see a summit racing fuel cell, and the battery has
also been relocated to the rear! The undercarriage is solid as can
be and rust free with additional chassis stiffening throughout!
Just look and you can tell that this vehicle was very well cared
for by its owners and kept in show condition! When you drive this
vehicle, it has the feel that you're looking for...runs and drives
just like new! This is a no excuse vehicle. This car will make a
fine collector's piece for you and your family for years to come!
