For Sale: 1949 Ford Club Coupe in webster, Massachusetts

Vehicle Description

1949 Ford Club Coupe Custom - Absolutely one-of-a-kind build with traditional 50's kustom culture styling and modern driveability in mind! Very well-known, awarded and magazine featured shoebox that demands attention everywhere it goes and a real conversation piece. The project started on a rust-free car out of Montana and was put into the caring hands of a well-known custom car builder here in New England, whom always had alot of west coast influences. It took over 4 years to finish until every aspect was deemed "perfect" for the owner's taste. Car is NOT CHOPPED but has instead been "sectioned" a total 4 inches around the entire circumference, nosed, decked, shaved, frenched, etc. All of the fab and body work has been done the old-school way of "hammer and lead" meaning there is absolutely NO BONDO in the car at all. It has been featured in multiple magazines such as the iconic Kustoms Illustrated and won hundreds of pedigree shows including "Best Ford in a Ford" at the World of Wheels. Pictures from the build are included along with a binder of receipts, info, magazine prints and trophies.

Comfortabley powered by a professionally tuned 1978 Mustang 302-V8 with a C3-automatic transmission. Motor has been nicely built with some performance upgrades such as a Mallory electronic ignition, Holley 4bbl carb, solid lifters, forged flat-top pistons, mild cam, aluminum radiator, trans cooler, dual stainless exhaust and Vintage Air Heat & A/C system. Front end has been updated with power dsic brakes and a Volvo steering box while the rear is from a Maverick with perfect 3.23 cruising gears. Car runs and drives like a dream at any speeds with plenty of get-up when needed.

Exterior is straight as an arrow and really shows off the overall build-qulaity in the slick custom hue of "Raven Black". Excellent chrome and trim with a near-perfect set of 57 Caddy hubcaps on whitewall radial tires. Headlights have been frenched, a special one-off grill built from a 49-52 chevy was made, trim customized, 50 Ford fuel door grafted in place of original filler neck and the hood and trunk have been tastefully nosed/decked.

Interior has received the royal custom treatment as well with full roll-pleat leather in a gorgeous two-tone of oxblood maroon and ivory with matching plush carpet throughout, which even continues into the trunk area. The original dash is still in place with new gauges and highly detailed. Beautiful and rare Crestliner wheel from re-knowned Juliano's Interior has been cut down to a smaller diameter while a LoKar floor shift has been added to allow for more comfortable cruising. Radio has been updated to a hidden AM/FM unit along with some accessory gauges to keep an eye on vehicle vitals. Underside is completely rust-free while under the hood is clean and show-ready.

Pictures really DO NOT do this car the justice it deserves in order to appreciate the craftsmanship that went into it. *I have known this car, the owner and builder since before, during and after completion and can personally attest to the overall attention to detail involved.* In the world of custom cars, the goal is to be different, unexpected and unique. This little Ford really checks all those boxes and it can almost be guaranteed that you won't ever park next to another like it. Here is your chance to really stand-out in the crowd and own a true piece of custom history, for an mere fraction of the build cost!
