Being offered for sale is this beautiful 1973 Mustang Mach 1 Fastback. Owned and cared for by the same owner since 1975, this car has been meticulously maintained throughout its life. Originally finished in gold, The car was professionally repainted its current color and shows very well. Paint is smooth and glossy, with only minor chips in a couple of areas. No history of collision damage or body repairs. Stored indoors and never driven in snow, it is completely rust free.
Likewise, the interior is in excellent condition, featuring original upholstery and headliner that are free from any tears or discoloration. No cracks in the dash or any interior plastics. Original carpeting is in great shape as well.
Originally a 351 Cleveland 2 barrel car, the engine has been rebuilt with Cobra Jet heads and topped with an Edelbrock 4 barrel intake and carburetor. Starts and runs great, and the car just finished a 350 mile road trip with no issues. Rides great, and the steering and brakes are firm and smooth. The C6 automatic transmission shifts firmly with no problems.
Overall, this Mustang is a great driver and would make an excellent addition to an enthusiast's collection. A true survivor that will serve its new owner well.
