The 1984 Hurst Olds you see is an all-original W-40 that’s been in storage for the past 20 years. This locally owned iconic Hurst Olds model was reintroduced by Oldsmobile to celebrate the anniversary of the first models produced in 1968. Only 3,500 units with the red cloth interior and lightning rod shifters were produced that year, so you’re looking at an easily restorable collector’s item. The 1984 Hurst Olds models have a silver upper two thirds body with black accents in the lower third.
This Hurst Olds has all matching numbers and is all original. It has the original motor, drive train, transmission, lightning rod shifters and 10-bolt Posi traction rear end. The motor is the original Oldsmobile 307ci V-8.
The car is in good condition and with a little bit of attention, can easily be restored for car shows or for resale.
