Vehicle Description
Chassis No. ZFFFC60A370149706
The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, introduced as a 2007 model, continued
building on Maranello's lineage of front-engine V12 grand tourers
re-introduced by the 550 and 575 Maranello. This elegant Berlinetta
embodied the perfect synthesis of luxury and performance, deriving
its engine architecture directly from the iconic Enzo. The
6.0-liter, 65-degree "F140C" V12 produced 612 horsepower, an
astounding 104 more than the 575. Contemporary road tests recorded
a blistering zero to 60 mph time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed
exceeding 205 mph.
Beyond its raw power, the 599 showcased Ferrari's commitment to
bringing cutting-edge technology pioneered in their World
Championship-winning F1 single-seaters to their roadgoing models.
The "F1-SuperFast" transmission, capable of 100-millisecond shifts,
and magnetorheological dampers borrowed from aerospace
applications, elevated the 599's track performance to new heights.
These advancements, coupled with aerodynamic innovations, resulted
in a grand tourer that seamlessly blended around-town manners with
blistering on-circuit agility.
Remaining true to the dual-purpose ethos of past Ferrari grand
tourers, the 599's interior matched its performance credentials.
Spacious and luxuriously appointed, the cabin featured a harmonious
blend of carbon fiber and aluminum, with Enzo-inspired
instrumentation adorning the dash. RECARO-developed seats provided
both comfort for long journeys and essential support during hard
cornering.
This North American-market model, equipped with the F1-SuperFast
transmission, was ordered through Ferrari's exclusive VIP program
by the original owner who sought a Ferrari of understated elegance.
The sophisticated pairing of Argento Nrburgring over a Charcoal
interior, with the deliberate deletion of the Scuderia Ferrari
fender shields historically associated with competition race cars,
speaks to the original owner's desire for a subtle grand tourer.
Desirable options completing its specification include 20-inch
Challenge wheels, red-finished brake calipers, Daytona-style,
fully-electric seats, and a leather-upholstered rear shelf.
This 599 GTB Fiorano benefits from regular maintenance, including a
comprehensive service at Miller Motorcars encompassing new Pirelli
P Zero tires, shocks, seals, gaskets, and brake lines between 2016
and 2020 for a total of $22,562, and a fresh service completed by
Auto Europe in September 2024 in preparation for this sale. The
addition of paint protection film to the front end also ensures
this grand tourer's timeless Argento Nrburgring exterior is
preserved for future enjoyment. Remarkably, less than 300 miles
have been added over four years under current ownership,
underscoring the car's well-preserved condition and limited use.
Accompanying the car is the coveted "VIP" (Vehicle Identification
Passport) book - a photographic dossier documenting this very
chassis from its early stages as a raw engine block through to its
emergence from the Maranello production line as well as a genuine
Ferrari car cover.
With its understated specification and up-to-date maintenance, this
599 GTB Fiorano offers a collector the opportunity to experience
one of Ferrari's most accomplished grand tourers of the modern era
- a car that, as noted by Car and Driver's Aaron Robinson, proves
that "driving one is good for the soul."
