1939 Nash Lafayette convertible Built in the USA. Serial is on the
frame and it matches the car. Engine rebuild, but it is a Nash 1940
Brakes are good, but I never opened the brakes. Rides very good but
follows the cracks on the road when driving it over 50 mph. (would
maybe need some radial) Transmission 3 speeds + an overdrive (very
cool) original. Paint is good but a few tiny light scratches Nice
roof; nice seats; nice carpet and very clean trunk. Clean
underneath. Converted to 12 volts with an alternator. All gauges
are working, the gas gauge is a modern gauge, speedometer isn't
accurate but does give a reading and we do know the speed we are
driving on average. The hand brake needs to be tied up. No rust
anywhere or very light surface rust on a few bolts. Driver door
doesn't close softly, it is fine but not soft. The roof close by
hand. The clutch is starting to slip. vacuum wipers, not strong
enough to swing both wipers, So, i have loosened one wipper and the
other one works only if it is alone. It has 2 littles sidway seats
at the back that slides in the wall. Driven 654,321 km Manual
