Vehicle Description
1978 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce 2000, a 2-door convertible with
5-speed manual transmission. The engine has 4-cylinder in line with
a total displacement of 1962cc, 111 HP at 5500 RPM. Spica
mechanical fuel injection. Always maintained with factory grade
parts. Designed for Alfa Romeo by the famous Italian coachbuilder
Pininfarina. This is a collector's Italian classic car that has
been gently driven, very well maintained, and always kept inside a
garage. The car is in an outstanding overall condition, very well
preserved for its age and a rare find. Engine runs smooth and the
car was maintained by qualified Italian car specialists and the
periodic oil and filters services were done by the owner using
parts and lubricant grade according to the factory specifications.
It is equipped with a RetroSound classic car audio system with AM /
FM / AUX / USB-A and 4 Kenwood speakers (the original radio system
is available to the buyer). Original wood steering wheel. Black
vinyl seat upholstery. Interior carpets and mats renovated in 2014
and look new. Black floor mats with Alfa Romeo logo. No cracks on
dashboard. Original Cromadora Turbine rims, 4 GT Radial Maxtour
tires in excellent condition and a full-size spare wheel fitted
with the Michelin XAS factory tire. The car has 81027 miles (the
original odometer was replaced on May 2008 because the speedometer
gauge stopped working and I retrofitted a used odometer with 20828
more miles than the original one. The original odometer and
pictures documenting the change are available to buyer). Stainless
steel Italian wipers. Stainless steel side mirrors with Alfa Romeo
logo. Original tool set in bag, owner's manual and Alfa Romeo
Owner's Bible by Pat Braden. Florida Clean Title. The annual
insurance premium for an antique car like this one is inexpensive
if driven for recreational purpose. This is a great car to start
your classic car collection hobby or to add to your current car
line-up.
