Vehicle Description
This 1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351 is powered by the original
matching-numbers factory 351/330hp Boss 4-barrel V8 engine paired
with a 4-speed transmission with a Hurst shifter, all packaged into
the restyled fastback sports roof with functional Ram Air hood and
competition suspension. Of the 1,806 Boss 351s produced for the
model year, only 344 were finished in D-code Grabber Yellow. It
rides on new 15-inch Magnum 500 style wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich
Radial T/A tires. Additional options include disc brakes, front and
rear spoilers, 3.91 Traction-Lok rear axle, semi-gloss black hood
with original twist locks and hardware, and black vinyl standard
bucket seats with a fold-down rear seat. The trunk has been
refinished with factory-style spatter paint. Documented by the
included Deluxe Marti Report, this Boss 351 was produced in January
1971 at the Dearborn, MI, plant and sold on February 15, 1971. This
Boss has been restored using all its original sheet metal and still
