This 1969 Dodge Charger R/T is powered by a matching-numbers 440ci Magnum engine mated to a A883 4-speed manual transmission with a new Hurst competition shifter and new Ram clutch. Both the engine and transmission were rebuilt in early 2023 and are validated by a partial VIN on the body. It is backed by a rebuilt Dana 60 Sure-Grip rear end with a 3.54 gear ratio. This Charger is equipped with an electronic ignition system, 26-inch radiator and YearOne factory-style wiring front to rear. The undercarriage was blasted and sprayed, and the K-frame and front suspension were removed, blasted and painted. It features new suspension, bushings, upper/lower control arms and shocks, as well as a new power steering pump with rebuilt OEM steering box. Stopping is provided by a new master power brake booster, front disc brake conversion and new brakes and brake lines all around. This car is also equipped with a rebuilt factory heater box. The engine exhales out of a new dual exhaust system and features factory HP manifolds, 2.5-inch H-pipe, resonators, 2.5-inch tailpipes and stainless-steel factory tips. The engine is fed by a new fuel system with a Holley 750 Street Performance carburetor, electric choke, fuel lines, gas tank, neck, sending unit and fuel pump. It is finished in X9 black paint with Stage 2 paint correction completed in September 2024. The exterior features factory vacuum headlight actuators with a new vacuum harness. This Charger also has stainless grille trim, doors and door housings, as well as a refurbished grille frame, new weatherstripping, new chrome bumpers and brackets from AMD, new plastic grille center, new headlights, new glass all the way around, new door locks/handles, along with a refurbished taillight housing, lenses and taillights. The original stainless was used on the upper doors, A-glass frames, C-channel, drip rails and front glass. There is new rear glass and a new gas cap. The interior features Dynamat insulation on floor pans/roof and a brand-new red Legendary interior with new dash and gauges, new PG seatbelts and buckles, new dash wiring and dash pad, new window cranks, and new dash cover and floor mats.
