The iconic 1968 Camaro in Tuxedo black with red interior and a Cordovan maroon metallic nose stripe. This is a fully badged SS Tribute car with a V8 383 Stroker motor, cowl induction hood and a hydraulic cam, roller rockers and mated to the 2-speed Powerglide. The headers matched to mufflered duals gives a sweet throaty sound. I’ve owned and enjoyed cruising her for about 2yrs now and it’s time to let it go.
It is sitting on original rally wheels with true Chevrolet center caps and newer BFGs. I just went through the drum brake system and replaced the master cylinder as well as the inner and outer wheel bearings. All of the fluids have been changed from the engine to the 10-bolt rear-end, radiator (all new belts, hoses and thermostat), brake fluid flush, transmission and filter change. The interior is in great condition and appears to be original as well as dash paint. It is an older restoration with new floor pans and rear quarters. The hood is an all-steel true cowl induction and not the fiberglass aftermarket version. All the gauges fully function with a very accurate speedometer, gas gauge and Bosch after-market tach, oil pressure, water temperature and voltage. The oil pressure runs in the 50-70psi range.
She also has a vintage stereo in the original hole with USB, Bluetooth and phone microphone. This is an ideal ’68 to cruise as she is at a good value or address some of the paint items and turn into a show car and build equity.
