Vehicle Description
Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 26th year in the
classic and muscle car business. When Ford's Mustang burst onto the
stage in April of 1964, it didn't take very long to realize that
something special was happening. One of the reasons that sales
soared to 680,989 units in that first model year was that the
attractive car could be ordered any way a customer wished. From the
6 cylinder/automatic secretary's car to a 289 HI-Po V8/4-speed
K-code corner carver, the Mustang came in many flavors. By the time
that this Lime Gold (I) 1967 Mustang came down the chute, a 390 big
block was available for the power hungry. Well, a prior owner of
this car must have been starving, because beneath the functional
scooped hood is a real 427 (the race-inspired beast with
cross-bolted main bearings) that's been fortified with twin Holley
4bbl carburetors, a 1965 Ford aluminum 2x4bbl intake manifold
(C5AE-9425-E), a beautiful set of stainless steel headers, a Cobra
cast aluminum deep sump oil pan, and MSD ignition. Additional
features include Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes, beefy C6 automatic
transmission, excellent 3 stainless steel exhaust system with
X-pipe, Ford 9 rear end, subframe connectors, shock tower brace,
correct paint and trim codes (I, 6G), console, AM/FM/Cassette audio
system, beautiful custom wood steering wheel, and fresh tires
(205/55R16 F, 245/50R16 R) on American Racing alloy wheels. Now for
the fun part. This pony runs HARD! I'm a jaded 60-year-old and this
car makes laugh and feel like I'm 14, not an every day occurrence.
