This 1930 Ford Model A Deluxe Roadster is a really cool car that
was frame off restored years ago. It was always stored in a climate
controlled garage so the car has aged well with only a few touched
up paint chips and the underside still looks amazing. The last
owner of this Roadster had owned the car since 1971 and drove it
very sparingly. It is still a really nice, well sorted, and great
running Model A with 2,561 miles. The body and fenders are all
steel and the car is super clean and solid. The Chica Drab paint
still looks very good with only some minor marks from over the
years. The wood on the underside is solid with no rot. This is a
Deluxe Roadster so it is equipped with a rumble seat, dual side
mounted spares with chrome covers, mirrors, dual cowl lights, rear
luggage rack, full rear bumper, and shorter windshield. This Model
A is loaded with options and the underside of the car is really
clean. It is easy to see this was a quality restoration.
The restored interior is also in excellent condition. The seat were
done in the current brown color in pleated vinyl. The door panels
and side panels were done to match. They all look excellent. The
lights, gauges, and horn work. The windshield wiper is not
working.
Mechanically this Model A is excellent. The original 201 Inline 4
Cyl engine starts easily and runs great with no issues or red flags
that we found. It has the 3 speed manual transmission that shifts
nice with a good clutch and the original factory rear end. The car
is totally stock mechanically. This car has a really cool set of
wheels with matching spares. They are painted with chrome spokes,
chrome center caps, and chrome beauty ring and they look really
cool. Nice Model A's for a fair price are hard to find especially
as a Roadster.
