Vehicle Description
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1973 Ford Bronco, a great
looking and highly optioned truck with a fuel-injected V8,
automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, dual fuel
tanks and air conditioning. Finished in Dark Blue metallic with a
Wimbledon White hard top, paint quality is good over a straight and
solid body. Excellent bumpers, trim, badges and lenses. Alloy
wheels are wearing new 285/75R16 BF Goodrich all terrains. This
tire size is approximately the same as a 33x11.50, which gives this
Early Bronco just the right stance when combined with a 2.5-inch
suspension lift. It's a little beefier than stock, but not so
aggressive that it sacrifices its road manners. In addition to the
factory hard top, a black soft top in good condition (complete with
frame assembly) is included with the sale.
Tidy interior presents well with Parchment seat upholstery and door
panels; dash pad and steering wheel are likewise in excellent
condition. A new roll bar with new three-point seat belts adds an
element of safety for top-off adventures. In the dash is a modern
RetroSound stereo with Bluetooth and USB inputs, with four speakers
for excellent sound quality (the original setup was an AM radio
with a single speaker in the dash - not exactly high fidelity). Air
conditioning has also been installed, which makes this Bronco much
more comfortable to drive on a hot day. Horn, wipers and all
exterior lights are working properly.
Under the hood is a 302 cubic inch V8 that has been fitted with an
Edelbrock multi-port electronic fuel injection system. Thanks to
EFI this truck starts easily and runs great; while we do not have
the build specs of the engine (which was rebuilt under prior
ownership), it idles smoothly and pulls strong throughout the rev
range (it definitely feels more powerful than a stock build with a
two-barrel carburetor). This Early Bronco is optioned with a C4
automatic transmission, which shifts smoothly, and also power
steering and power brakes. New Flowmaster dual exhaust sounds great
(it's actually fairly quiet at idle and with normal driving, and we
did not observe any objectionable exhaust droning noise on the
highway - but under full throttle acceleration people will
definitely hear you coming).
This Early Bronco would make a great addition to any collection,
especially given how highly optioned it is - and it runs and drives
as good as it looks. For more information about this 1973 Ford
