Description:
This 1939 Chevrolet Master Deluxe sedan was built into a street
rod, and it is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a TH350
three-speed automatic transmission. The steel body is finished in
red with multicolor pinstriping, and details include shaved doors,
chrome bumpers, tinted windows, and American Racing 15" wheels. The
interior has been customized with gray cloth upholstery, front
bucket seats, wood trim, a JVC CD head unit, a Grant GT steering
wheel, and VDO white-dial instrumentation. The car is further
equipped with an Edelbrock carburetor, a front drop axle, power
steering, and front disc brakes. A tune-up was performed and the
spark plugs were replaced after the selling dealer's acquisition in
September 2024.
Interior:
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in
gray cloth with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Wood
trim accents the dashboard and glove compartment door, and power
windows have been added along with a Klaxon-style horn and a JVC CD
head unit. The air conditioning system blows cool but not cold
according to the seller. The vent window latches have been removed,
and a tear in the driver's seat upholstery can be viewed in the
gallery.
Exterior:
The door handles were shaved, and concealed poppers were installed
during the aforementioned build before a repaint in red with
multicolor pinstriping and a Scrooge McDuck illustration on the
trunk. An LED center stop light was added, and other details
include a receiver hitch, tinted windows, running boards, chrome
bumpers, and dual exhaust outlets.
Drivetrain:
The 350ci V8 is equipped with an Edelbrock carburetor as well as a
ribbed air cleaner lid and valve covers. Service performed in
preparation for the sale included tuning the carburetor and
replacing the spark plugs. Power is sent to the rear wheels through
a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and a 10-bolt rear
axle.
