For Sale at Auction: 2006 Ford GT in Chattanooga, Tennessee

Vehicle Description

Chassis No. 1FAFP90S76Y402044

Assembled as a Canadian-market example, this Ford GT left the factory finished in Mark IV Red with full White stripes, one of 327 examples produced as such for the 2006 model year. As chassis number 402044, this is also likely the fourth-to-last Ford GT ever produced, as production for the model ended in 2006 with chassis number 402047. Interestingly, unlike U.S.-market GTs which were offered with an optional McIntosh Audiophile System for an additional $4,000, Canadian-market models were not offered with this option due to weight regulations. Thus, this GT is a fully optioned example, featuring full racing stripes ($5,000), lightweight BBS wheels ($3,500), and red-painted brake calipers ($750).

Today, this Ford GT has covered just 276 miles from new at the time of cataloging - a true time capsule, investment-grade example. The GT is accompanied by its original owner's manual as well as two sets of keys and remote fobs. The accompanying CARFAX Vehicle History Report shows that the car was remarkably not registered until 2019 in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, and subsequently imported to the United States later that year showing just 28 miles. The report shows registration in Arizona since, and verifies the GT's incredibly low original mileage.

Even after nearly two decades, the Ford GT continues to captivate enthusiasts as a thrilling, high-octane tribute to Ford's racing heritage, revered by many as one of the last purely analog offerings in the supercar realm.
