1949 Ford Custom Convertible in Fez Red paint. 239 Flathead V8
(100hp) under the hood with manual transmission. Chrome and
brightwork in great shape and shows well against that glossy red
color. Riding on painted to match steel wheels with beauty rings
and Ford wheel covers all on wide white wall radial tires. Equipped
with electric fuel pump. Front right wheel cover has a ding in it.
Burgundy/Tan leather & fabric two-tone bench seat interior
three-on-the-tree manual shift on the column. Convertible top cover
is tan in color and is included with purchase. In 1949 Ford
introduced the "Lifeguard" body that was 59% more rigid than
previous years with an improved body and frame structure. This one
is still running on a 6V system. There is some wear on the front
seats in areas. Turn the key to the right to let the fuel pump run
for a minute or two before turning the engine over. Tan power
convertible top is in good shape and works as it should with glass
rear window! Full size spare and rear fender skirts will be
included as well.
