Vehicle Description
This 1955 Ford F-100 custom pickup is powered by a 5.0-liter Gen 3
Coyote 8-cylinder engine paired with a 10-speed automatic
transmission and a Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.89 gears, a
Traction-Lok unit and 31-spline rear axles. It sits on a Fat Fender
complete tube section frame with coilover suspension and a large
front sway bar. Stopping is provided by Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes
and a Wilwood master cylinder. The engine is cooled with a Fat
Fender aluminum radiator and electric fans. It is also equipped
with an American Autowire wiring harness and aluminum gas tank. The
body of this F-100 had its roof chopped by 4 inches and all the
body panels have been media-blasted, epoxy-coated and finished in
PPG Matte Black base and clearcoat. The custom aluminum bed was
raised to accommodate the new suspension and its lowered stance.
The body also has a custom front grille and shaved door handles
with door poppers. The custom interior features Dakota Digital
gauges, a Restomod Air system, billet dash vents, a custom console,
premium sound system and power windows with custom glass. **
