Exterior:
What you see is what you get. It features its original Carmine Red
color and shows some bumps, bruises, and chips throughout. The
panel alignment is good, and aside from the rust in the left rear
quarter, the car presents itself as solid and straight. There are
no signs of major accident repairs. The soft top and Tonneau cover
are in excellent condition and look fantastic. The glass is in good
shape, and all hardware and trim pieces are accounted for.
Interior:
The interior is in nice condition and appears mostly original,
featuring original tan upholstery and red carpets. The floorboards
are solid, and the dashboard and gauges largely retain their
original look. The speedo and odometer function properly.
Aftermarket 5-point safety harnesses have been installed for added
safety. The windows function well, and the interior remains fully
intact.
Under the Hood:
The 1500cc engine is in good condition and features some tasteful
upgrades. It starts easily, idles smoothly when warm, and revs
without hesitation, free from smoke or misfires. Overall, it's a
strong performer and has a great sound from the exhaust system.
On the Road:
This car shifts smoothly and feels fantastic on the road. It
accelerates powerfully through all gears and tracks straight. The
brakes function well, and both the new clutch master and slave
cylinders enhance the driving experience. The transmission shifts
smoothly, and there are no unwanted suspension noises. Overall,
this vehicle provides a thrilling ride, putting you close to the
pavement as you shift through the gears.
