The vehicle's story: In 2005 our father/father-in-law was in the last stages of his life. He saw this car at an auction and thought "I've always wanted a red Mercedes." Well he won the auction in South Dakota. When he showed the car to us some months later, some in our immediate family fell in love with the car. He gifted the car to us in 2005 realizing that we were the only relatives that could properly care for it. We treated it with TLC during the years since. It gave family members great joy to ride in it very occasionally over the years. We are now downsizing seniors. So we are bittersweet about finding a new home for it and someone that will appreciate and love this classic car like we have.
