This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS Resto-Mod received a professional
restoration with modern upgrades and is powered by a built 383ci
stroker engine with aluminum heads paired with a 2004R 4-speed
automatic transmission connected to a 10-bolt rear end with 3.73
gears. The engine is dressed with a polished intake, aluminum valve
covers and a March front-runner system. Other upgrades include
power disc brakes at all four corners, power steering, front drop
spindles and a Hotchkis sway bar. The engine is cooled with an
aluminum radiator with twin fans. It breathes out of a custom
X-pipe dual exhaust system using ceramic-coated long-tube headers
and Borla mufflers. This custom Camaro rides on 18-inch Foose
5-spoke chrome wheels wrapped in Falken tires. The exterior is
expertly sprayed in red tri-coat paint and features hideaway
headlights, along with front and rear spoilers. The bucket-seat
interior is trimmed in houndstooth and features a Vintage Air
system, a center console with a gauge cluster, custom stereo system
with JL Audio speakers and a three-spoke Grant steering wheel. It
also has a custom-finished trunk with a hidden compartment and
modifications for the subwoofer, amplifier and fresh Optima
battery.
