This 1976 Chevrolet C10 custom pickup is powered by a built
Chevrolet 454ci big-block engine featuring a Dart Big M 4-bolt
block, Manley forged 4340 crankshaft, forged 4340 rods, forged
pistons with 10.1:1 compression, moly rings, hydraulic roller
camshaft with 243/249 duration, double roller timing chain, Dart
Pro1 aluminum heads, Howards billet aluminum roller rockers and a
Melling high-volume oil pump, topped by an Edelbrock Performer RPM
air gap intake and Holley Quick Fuel 850cfm carburetor. Power is
backed by a Hughes Street and Strip TH400 3-speed automatic
transmission with a 3000-stall converter. This C10's 1970s paint
job has been scuffed and covered in Vintage Flatz matte clearcoat
to preserve the "OG" patina paint scheme. A new body trim has been
installed, along with all-new glass gaskets, and seals have been
rebuilt or replaced with Precision replacement parts. The
suspension has been upgraded to air-ride suspension featuring Slam
Specialties air bags and a Choppin Block front crossmember setup
with tubular control arms, as well as a complete back-half subframe
with 4-link suspension. This pickup lays flat on the ground over
20-inch Billet Specialties wheels wrapped in Toyo tires. The
original interior was ditched for a pair of TMI bucket seats, an
all-custom-built functional center console, kick panels and 8-inch
subwoofer enclosure, as well as all-new gauges, carpet and dash
pad. Squarebody Syndicate and Ididit teamed up to create a custom
steering column 2 inches shorter than the factory column.
