Guaranty Chevrolet A Chevrolet Dealer Located in San Diego,
California known for its high performance Corvettes and Muscle Cars
Division. The first owner was a service man stationed in San Diego,
California. This Corvette was ordered with performance in mind.

served his time in Service in California he returned home to
Pennsylvania with the Corvette where he would soon trade the
Corvette in at the world famous Don Yenko Chevrolet Located in
Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. The corvette would be sold and trade
hands once more before a long stint in hibernation in the back of
the owners machine shop. A NCRS judge Bill C had caught wind of the
old corvette in 2002 and was able to convince the owner to sell him
the corvette but once the deal was made and Bill returned to pick
the corvette up the owner began to have sellers remorse and almost
reneged on the deal but Bill was able to get the car secured in his
trailer and on his way home. The corvette soon traded hands shortly
after Bill had taken possession of the corvette this time the
Corvette was off to Boonville, NY to Al Greenings garage where Al,
(an NCRS and Bloomington Gold Judge who is Known for his Extensive
Corvette Engine, Vin Tag ang Trim Tag Library and his Business CCAS
(Classic Car Affirmation Service Where he provides a service to
corvette owners of authenticating your corvette Originality
including Engine Pad, Trim tag, and Vin plate Authenticity) would
go over the Corvette with A fine tooth comb and confirm that this
was in-fact the "REAL DEAL". After Al's short ownership the car was
purchased by Bruce in Indiana where Bruce would take the Corvette
and prepare the car for Top Flight Judging in 2006 where he would
receive an NCRS Top Flight Award. Bruce would go on to have the
corvette as part of his collection of special Midyear corvette for
another 16 years when he decided he was ready to let go of the
corvette. This is when the current owner Joe Verrillo would
purchase the corvette after hearing about the 396 through another
corvette enthusiast. Upon receiving the corvette Joe had realized
what he had was something very special. Retaining all of its
original components including Engine, Transmission and Rear Axle in
a special 1 of1 maybe 1 of 2 color combination, in unrestored
condition with owner history and a story most cars just don't have.
Joe decided he would take this Corvette around to national judging
events because this corvette just had to be seen! In 2019 Joe and
the team at Verrillo Motor Car Co. Prepared this corvette for NCRS
Top Flight Judging in 2019 where Joe would achieve an NCRS Top
Flight Award. With encouragement from some Top NCRS Judges and 396
Specialist at the judging event that day Joe Decided to take the
car to the Bloomington gold Event in January of 2021 for
Bloomington Gold OEM, Bloomington Gold Benchmark and Bloomington
Gold Survivor Where this Corvette really shined on the judging
field achieving all Three prestigious awards. Joe has decided it is
time to pass this special corvette off to its new caretaker. There
are many Corvettes on the market but to have the opportunity to own
a car with not only the Current awards this car possesses but the
incredible Owner History and Pedigree this Corvette has is an
opportunity that only comes along every so often. Some Collector
cars have history and a story that money just cant buy and sets
them apart from the crowd. Included in the sale is the Original
Owners protection plan booklet and Protect-o-Plate, Original Keys
and all Owners manuals along with a binder of awards and Owner
history research.
