unmodified. Clean CarFax. Just serviced and ready to go. A
fantastic C8 convertible available for under sticker price! Is there
anything left to say about the C8 Corvette that hasn't already been
said? Revolutionary. Extraordinary. And a screaming bargain. With
just 823 miles on the clock, this 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
R is still new in every sense of the word. Like most of its
siblings, it has been treated gently and stored properly, so it
remains pretty much as you'd expect. The convertible doesn't change
the look of the mid-engined C8 very much, and the mechanical
symphony that retracts the roof under the rear deck is rather
amazing to watch. This particular Stingray R is well dressed with a
lot of carbon fiber, including both front and rear spoilers, carbon
flash painted roof and mirrors, and details around the side air
intakes. There's not a mark on it, not a scuff on the chin spoiler,
not a nick where someone's foot didn't quite clear the side sills.
It is spectacular. The Torch Red paint sizzles in the sunlight and
really is the right color for a Corvette, particularly one as
dramatic as the C8. There's no sneaking around in a car like this,
but I'm guessing nobody buys a Corvette convertible because they
want to keep a low profile. It's just awesome in person. The
Adrenaline Red leather interior is a fantastic choice with the
Torch Red bodywork. The deeply sculpted bucket seats are unmarked
and feature embroidered Corvette emblems in the headrests and
enough adjustments that almost anyone can get comfortable behind
the wheel. The squared-off steering wheel features bright red
stitching and a matching chunk of red leather at the 12 o'clock
position so you always know where straight-ahead is, even in the
heat of combat. Gauges are digital and totally configurable, with a
myriad of features, measurements, and displays so you can get
exactly the information you need. It also includes a high-quality
entertainment system with touch-screen interface that's just to the
right of the instrument pod. All C8 Corvettes come with the 8-speed
dual clutch transmission with paddle shifters, but it's content to
handle the shifting for you if you're just cruising. The spine
between the driver and passenger houses the automatic climate
control buttons, which is kind of a neat touch. And with the flick
of a switch, the roof stows itself behind the seats and out of
sight, giving the Corvette an exceptionally clean profile. There
are two modest trunks, one up front and one in back, which are
fully upholstered and big enough for some soft duffel bags on a
weekend getaway. We'd love to show you the 6.2 liter V8, but it's
completely hidden?up top there's a panel that covers it in the
convertible top well, and underneath there's a full belly pan for
improved aero. You can look up all the specs online, but the
all-aluminum powerplant is state-of-the-art as far as pushrod V8s
go. It's docile around town but ferocious when you really want to
stomp on it. It has a fresh oil change so it's ready to rock, and
the factory warranty is still 100% intact. It has not been modified
or altered in any way, and given the low mileage, we'd be surprised
if it has ever seen more than 5000 RPM. This is a new car in just
about every way that matters. The suspension is equally
sophisticated, fully independent, and thanks to the mid-engine
configuration, this C8 is faster around a track than almost any
Corvette before it. The massive brakes are clamped by
custom-painted bright red brake calipers (a $695 option) and it
barks through an optional performance exhaust system that sounds
heroic. Gloss black wheels provide contrast to the shiny red paint
and carry 245/35/19 front and 305/30/20 rear Michelin Pilot radials
that still have the casting quills on them.Documentation includes
all the books, manuals, tags, and fliers that came with the car, as
well as the window sticker and build sheet. If you've been
discouraged by the mark-ups on new C8s, this car should be an
exciting alternative. No waiting, still under warranty, and
properly maintained mean that you shouldn't have any second
thoughts about jumping in and enjoying the best sports car America
has ever built. Call today!Harwood Motors always recommends and
