1948 Chevy 3100 1/2 ton shortbox survivor pick up truck. This truck
is one of the more set up trucks we have as we used it to go on
road tours and parades. I have driven it on some longer trips and
it always has been super reliable. It drives down the road very
nice. It handles great. I consistently had it around 55-60 mph and
it rode beautifully. The truck steers easily, and the gauges are
all working. This truck is a original 6 volt system. The
headlights, tail lights, blinker etc and spots work. The two small
fog lamps on the bumper do not work. It has 4 good tires on it,
while not brand new, they should have alot of life yet. The factory
radio doesnt work but it is there (I used a bluetooth speaker) The
truck fires right up every time. The 6 cyl engine runs strong and
doesnt oveheat. It has great brakes and a newer chrome radiator.
Lots of updates and newer parts as we saw them pop up. The seat and
interior is very good. The floor has a nice rubber floor mat. It
has the original cardboard headliner! This truck is a pleasure to
drive! Hop in it and start having fun with your family driving it
around. The body looks great. I left it original like I got it.
While not a restored truck, it is definitely one of the more solid
trucks I have come across for not being restored. It has a really
awesome original visor on it. the frame and underside looks great.
I do not want to overcall it or under call it, watch the video and
check out the pics to see what the truck is and call me with any
questions. The doors open and shut like they should and the windows
roll up and down easy. The bed has a metal sheet over the original
wood slates. It has a clean and clear title matching the engine
number. Like I said earlier, this is a truck you can really start
to have fun with and take on parade routes, car shows, or long road
tours right away. I get smiles and waves every time. Please Note
