Vehicle Description
A simply stunning example of a Silver Wraith II. Finished in Shell
grey (silver) with Royal Blue fine lines to the waist-rails. The
interior has handsome rich Royal blue Connolly hides with matching
Wilton wool carpets. The same theme carries through to the boot.
The roof has an interior matching dark blue Everflex top. With the
exception of a short-time caretaker since, this is a 2 owner car
from new that has travelled only 36,000 miles! A very elegant
colour combination in the desirable long wheel-base configuration
and low miles, makes this a breath-takingly beautiful and
collectable example. This is an unmolested original one that has
been incredibly well maintained since new and presents in excellent
condition. It is all original with no modifications - right down to
the original Blaupunkt push button radio and Pioneer 8-track
cassette player and factory original Yale keys. She is pristinely
clean and dry and 100% rust free. The underside of the car looks
like a 5 year old example. The body on this Wraith II is very
straight and the paint shiny and lustrous. The car is primarily
original paint with some minor repaint evident on the bonnet. She
presents overall gorgeous. The Everflex vinyl top, standard fitment
on all Wraith IIs, is original without any imperfections or
bubbling which is otherwise common on these. All original Eveflex
tops had a very subtle padding to the mid-section and this one
displays this original touch. The interior of this Wraith II looks
close to perfect. The dark blue Connolly hide leather is 100%
factory original. It is in absolutely outstanding condition with no
tears nor fading and very supple and soft - true to its Connolly
characteristics (please view the photos where I "scrunch" the
leather with my hand). The leather has NEVER been redyed but simply
lovingly preserved and is truly delightful. Original non-dyed
leather is rare to see these days so this is a huge testament to
the car's originality. The burr walnut wood throughout the car is
stunning. They are completely original and have not been redone.
They are almost flawless (not a word you can use flippantly) and so
can easily be described as "excellent condition". The colour is
deep, the grain rich and the finish smooth. I personally love the
rich ochre grain section that forms like a frame around the clock.
Such is the beauty of Mother nature! The head-lining is all
original and in perfect condition. This is rare to see as the
broadcloth wool tends to get a little stained and yet this car
shows none of that. Likewise, is the leather finish to the dash and
top-roll. The Wilton wool carpets are in excellent condition,
finished with an exquisite set of lambswool mouton in the same
colour. The boot (trunk) carpet carries through with the same theme
as the cabin and is also in excellent condition. The Silver Wraith
II presented here, like all Park-Ward Motors' cars, is subject to
our Predelivery Commissioning process which ensures every car sold,
is up to date with all major and minor services and any work needed
carried out. Important costly items such as the hydraulics and
brakes are fully inspected and serviced as required. This includes
checking of all the major hydraulics (pumps, valves, accumulators,
calipers, rotors. brake hoses) and the system flushed, pressure
tested and bled. When completed and shipped, it is ready to drive
and enjoy. For the purists who may ask for history and service
records, there is none, we're disappointed to say but upon any
inspection; under the hood, the underside, inside the doors, there
is absolutely no question or doubt in our mind of the low mileage
original condition. The white-wall Michelin tyres currently fitted
were the first replacement set since the car was new! These will be
changed as part of the predelivery Commissioning process, of
course, but we wanted to show you just how original the car is. The
hubcaps are excellent with no imperfections in the stainless
