Designed by one of the world's finest designers, Pininfarina, then
hand-assembled and finished by Rolls-Royce, it was no surprise that
every one of Bentley's 1,015 Azure units was pre-sold before even
being built. An evolution of the Continental R, the Azure soon
achieved iconic status among luxury car buyers. Now, more than 25
years since its 1995 introduction, it has a deserved reputation as
being one of the best combinations of power and luxury to emerge
from Bentley's Crewe factory.
The Azure's elegant, understated body design, luxurious interior,
and state-of-the-art powertrain was designed for maximum motoring
style, comfort, and performance. Capable of a maximum speed of 155
miles per hour, the Azure is a car that elevates the driving
experience beyond mere transportation with its top speed simply the
byproduct of the power produced from its 6.75-liter V8 intercooled

in the classic color of Bentley Racing Green with an interior
coordinated Tan power top. The interior is swathed in Soft Tan
Connolly leather upholstery with contrasting Spruce Green piping

Vehicle History Report notes a single Texas-based owner from 1996
until March 2024. Additionally, the CARFAX reveals numerous
maintenance visits throughout the 2000s at Post Oak Motor Cars of
Houston, Texas. Recent servicing in November 2023 included a fresh
fuel pump and filter, a new alternator, and six new convertible top
cylinders along with fuel injector cleaning and a new battery. The
invoice for this recent work, totaling over $13,000 and previous
service work dating back to 2006, can be viewed in its online
history file. Additionally, under current ownership the car has
seen servicing in March 2024 and an inspection in April 2024 that
reveals the need for additional work due to the nature of its long
term storage.
