This custom 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer is powered by a modified LQ9
sequential-port-injected GM 6.0-liter V8 engine with enlarged
throttle body, PSI Conversion ECM and a Lingenfelter TG-002
converter. Power is backed by a 4L80E automatic overdrive
transmission and transfer case that were completely rebuilt and
upgraded, down to a rear differential houses a 3.73 posi-traction
unit. A huge, polished crossflow radiator with electric fans keeps
the engine cool. This Balzer sits on a 4-inch Rancho suspension
lift with Bilstein shocks on all four corners and rolls on factory
15x8-inch K10 Rally Rims with new BFGoodrich All-Terrain K02 tires.
It is finished in a custom show-quality LeMans Blue paint, fully
sanded and buffed for a mirror finish. The interior features
factory bucket seats, a console, black rear bench seat, upgraded
stereo with Focal Speakers, Rockford Fosgate amplifier and dual
Kicker subwoofers in a custom-fitted box. It is also optioned with
