This three-owner 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 is powered by an
all-matching-numbers original 455ci 8-cylinder engine paired with
an automatic transmission. It retains the OW Turbo 400 with correct
carburetor, distributor, F cylinder heads, W-455 aluminum intake
and 3.23 posi-traction rear end. This W-30 still retains its
all-original sheet metal and original interior. This car had one
repaint in the mid-1990s and went through a rotisserie restoration
of the undercarriage and underhood, and rides on bias-ply tires,
also installed at that time. The engine, transmission and rear end
were all resealed with new gaskets and repainted to factory colors
and specs. The sale includes a history back to day one, including
Protect-O-Plate, Window Sticker, Broadcast Sheet, dealer invoice
showing "Factory Stripe Delete" in Aspen and Gold color scheme,
dealer prep sheet, registration cards, and maintenance records
showing oil changes, tires and tune-ups.
